National Tariff Commission Hiring — Chief Advisor (Tariff Policy) on Contract (1 Post)

Issuer: National Tariff Commission (NTC). Position: Chief Advisor – Tariff Policy (Contract, 01 slot). The Commission seeks a senior tariff expert to support tariff policy, tariff rationalization and trade-defence related work to enhance domestic industry competitiveness.

Key responsibilities include strategic alignment of tariff strategy with global industrial trends and national economic policy, sector and industry classification, tariff policy alignment and cascading principles, assessing impact of trade agreements and FTAs, advising on tariff rationalization, mapping value chains and identifying tariff anomalies, and contributing to future-proofing measures (HS review and sustainability protocols).

Contract terms: Post offered on a contract basis. Position will be filled on contract; extensions/renewal and detailed terms will be as per NTC policy.
