National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) invites applications for the position of Department Head – Electrical (AVP/VP) reporting to Wing Head – Engineering (North). The role is based in Islamabad and seeks an experienced electrical engineering professional to lead the bank’s electrical maintenance, projects and services for northern operations.

| Educational / Professional Qualification | Minimum B.E. / B.Tech. (Electrical / Electronics) from an HEC-recognized university/college/institute; candidates with a Master’s degree and/or relevant certifications preferred. |
| Experience | Minimum 6 years of relevant experience. Work experience in banking and/or financial sector preferred. |
| Key Skills & Competencies | Good working knowledge in project estimation, billing and execution; ability to multitask and work with cross-functional teams; strong written and verbal communication; analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). |
| Main Duties & Responsibilities | Review and submit proposals for electrical work and equipment repair/maintenance; plan, lead and guide electrical department for assigned works/projects/targets; ensure project budgets and timelines are met; monitor procurement and compliance with Bank guidelines and PPRA rules; supervise operations and maintenance of electrical services including generators, UPS, DBs and solar systems; coordinate with Engineering departments / teams and resolve electrical-related issues across offices/branches; perform other assignments as directed. |
