National Bank of Pakistan invites applications for the role of Divisional Head – Payment Services (SVP/EVP) to be based in Karachi. The position reports to the Group Chief – Operations Group and seeks an experienced payments/operations leader to manage back-office operations, payments, remittances, RTGS, treasury interfaces and related services.

| Educational / Professional Qualification | Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university/college/institute recognized by HEC of Pakistan. Candidates having a Master's degree from an HEC-recognized university/institution will be preferred. |
| Experience | Minimum 15 years of banking experience, of which at least 05 years of experience as Head and/or one level down to Head of Corporate Operations and/or Transaction Banking and/or Payment Services related areas including Treasury and/or Foreign Remittances and/or Payments & RTGS, and/or Cash Management. |
| Key Skills & Knowledge | Good communication and interpersonal skills; team management and leadership; excellent organizational skills; attention to detail & proactive attitude; ability to manage large teams; in-depth knowledge of prudential regulations related to operations, especially Cash Management Products, RTGS, Foreign Exchange Remittances and Treasury. |
| Main Duties & Responsibilities (summary) | Manage back-office for Corporate Banking, Treasury, Trade, Payments and Collections; ensure timely delivery of jobs; translate business and strategic goals into operational plans; lead and coach teams; identify process improvements and automation opportunities; ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies; conduct departmental audits and risk reviews; liaise with IT and stakeholders to improve TAT and operational efficiency; implement best practices, SOPs and new trends; perform assigned duties by Group Chief. |
| Assessment / Interviews | Only shortlisted candidates strictly meeting eligibility criteria will be invited for panel interviews. |
| Employment Type & Tenure | Contractual basis for three years, renewable at management discretion. Selected candidates will be offered a compensation package and benefits as per Bank’s policy/rules. |
