Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad (ISSI) invites applications for the post of Director, China-Pakistan Study Centre (CPSC) on regular basis initially with probation for six months.

| Essential Qualification | Ph.D. (applicants enrolled in Ph.D. program may also apply). Preferably in IR/DS/ Economics/Political Science or comparable discipline with excellent analytical ability and subject expertise, particularly on China, SCO and Central Asia. |
| Experience & Publications | Minimum 10 years of professional experience in a university, think tank, research institution or policy-oriented organization; at least five HEC-recognized research publications preferred. Experience in securing and leading research projects, international collaborations, fellowships, joint research and academic exchanges is required. |
| Core Competencies | Leadership, team management and mentorship; strong research and analytical skills; ability to supervise researchers and deliver quality outputs on time; established professional networks with Chinese think tanks, research institutions and universities; strategic vision for institutional strengthening, outreach and fundraising. |
| Age Limit | Not more than 50 years |
