PIDCL Re-Invitation of Bids for Street-Lighting & Electrical Works in Karachi (Bids due 2026-08-31)

Issuer: Pakistan Infrastructure Development Company Limited (PIDCL), Ministry of Housing & Works, Government of Pakistan.

Purpose: Re-invitation of single-stage one-envelope bids through the e-procurement system (e-PADS) for multiple street-lighting, electrical installation and related civil/electromechanical works at various Union Councils and towns across Karachi.

Key requirements and eligibility:

- Valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the appropriate category for each package is mandatory.

- Bidders must comply with Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) requirements, Sales Tax and other applicable taxes.

How to obtain documents and submit bids:

- Bidding documents are available online at https://eprocure.gov.pk (e-PADS). Prospective bidders must register and download documents from the portal.

- A non-refundable document fee of Rs. 5,000 (payable to Pakistan Infrastructure Development Company Limited) is required to obtain bidding documents online.

- Bids must be submitted electronically via the e-PADS platform. Original/required hard-copy documents as specified in the bidding documents may also need to be delivered as directed.

Bid security and submission/opening:

- Each package requires bid security in the amount and form specified in the tender documents (Bank Guarantee / CDR as applicable).

- Date & time for submission of bids (common): 2026-08-31 up to 02:00 PM. Opening of bids: 2026-08-31 at 02:30 PM.

Scope & locations: Multiple contracts for providing and fixing street lights, installation of electrical poles, distribution works and related infrastructure across Korangi, Landhi, Jinnah Town, Gulshan, Surjani Town, North Nazimabad and other Karachi towns/Union Councils as listed in the tender packages.
