District Auction Committee, District Kohat invites applications from contractors registered with the Directorate General Mines & Minerals, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for auction of minor mineral mining leases of District Kohat (excluding Chorlakki, Khushkal Ghar, Dhok Shahbaz and Kamar) for a period of one (1) year on an "as is where is" basis.
Auction date & time: 2026-09-01 at 11:00 AM in the office of Deputy Commissioner, Kohat. If auction cannot be held, next date: 2026-09-02 at 11:00 AM.
Registration requirements and fees: Registered persons/firms must submit the prescribed application with a non-refundable application fee of Rs.10,000 at least three working days before the auction. Call deposits and reserved prices are listed below. Call deposits must be deposited under account No. 0066-2008140092 and application fee under account No. 0066-2008209319 at any branch of Bank of Khyber. Applicants must submit copies of CNIC, NTN/income tax registration certificate and partnership deed/association documents where applicable.

Important terms: successful bidder must deposit 1/4th of total bid amount as security within three days of auction or call deposit will be forfeited; the successful bidder will be bound to sign the lease within fifteen days of issuance of allotment letter and will pay applicable Excise Duty and taxes as per rules. The successful bidder must use only verified challans for transportation of minerals; unauthorized transportation will be dealt with under Section-56 of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mines & Mineral Act, 2017 (Amended).
