NEPRA Public Notice: Proposed Wheeling Auction Amendments Including BESS Co-location

The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) invites comments on proposed amendments to the Wheeling Auction Process submitted by the Independent System and Market Operator of Pakistan (SMO). Key proposed changes include mandatory co-location of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) with solar or wind generation participating in the auction, an extension of the proposal submission deadline by up to one month, and the formation of a Grievance Redressal Committee for eligibility grievances.
