The Director Military Lands & Cantonments, Lahore Region has issued a final show cause notice to Rana Waseem Abbas, Chowkidar (BS-01) of MEO's Office Lahore Circle, for prolonged unauthorized absences (including periods in 2025–2026), refusal to accept suspension and show-cause correspondence, and related misconduct. A regular inquiry report dated 17-06-2026 found him guilty of willful absence, disobedience, inefficiency and misconduct.
He is directed to submit his written defence within 10 days of publication of this notice; failure to do so will result in ex-parte proceedings and may culminate in removal/dismissal from service under the Civil Servants (E&D) Rules 2020.
