LESCO Invitation for Bids – Procurement of 11kV & 132kV Capacitor Cells (ADB-funded)

Office: Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) – Project Management Unit (PMU). LESCO invites sealed bids under ADB-financing for the Power Distribution Strengthening Project (Loan 4567-PAK) for procurement of capacitor cells (Lot VI). Bidding is open to bidders from ADB member countries in accordance with ADB's Single-Stage: One-Envelope procedure.

Key eligibility and qualification requirements

- Bidders (or their proposed manufacturers) must have at least 5 years of design/manufacturing experience for similar goods.
- The manufacturer must have manufactured and supplied similar goods in quantities at least equal to 80% of the required quantity during the last ten (10) years in a single or multiple contracts.
- Supplied goods should have been in satisfactory operation for at least two (2) years on the date of bid opening.
- Bidders must demonstrate adequate financial capability: audited balance sheets and profit & loss statements for the last three (3) years; positive net worth as required by the bidding document.

How to obtain bidding documents

Interested eligible bidders may request bidding documents from the Office of the Chief Engineer (Development), PMU LESCO. A non-refundable document fee of PKR 5,000 (or USD equivalent) is payable by cashier's cheque, pay order or demand draft in favour of Chief Executive Officer LESCO. Documents may be dispatched on payment of PKR 3,000 for domestic delivery or USD 150 for overseas delivery; documents will be sent by registered post/courier.

Submission & opening

Deliver sealed bids to the address below before or on 2026-08-17 at 11:00 AM (Pakistan Standard Time). Bids will be opened promptly after the deadline in the presence of bidders' representatives who choose to attend. Late bids will be rejected.
