Issuer: Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Islamabad-Rawalpindi, Chief Engineering Branch (Tech & CE Branch).
Purpose: Invitation for sealed "Single Stage Two Envelope" bids from PEC and DHA registered contractors/firms for a turnkey rehabilitation and reconstruction project on the DHA Expressway.
Project summary: Design and construction of approximately 7.5 km of expressway, 150 feet wide, 6 lanes. Works include assessment of existing pavement and damaged sections, detailed design and vetting (in consultation with DHA), road rehabilitation and recarpeting, hydrology and drainage works, stormwater system and structures, road furniture, signage, safety barriers, median works, horticulture and irrigation/rain harvesting with water supply system, shift/relocation of services if required, testing, commissioning and handover as a complete functional facility, and provision of an expressway gate.
Eligibility: PEC and DHA registered contractors in Category C-1 and above with specialization CE-01 & CE-10.
