The University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF) invites Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from reputable, registered private seed companies for an Academia–Industrial Linkages initiative to produce Early/Cereation Seed (ECS) under the Quality Seed Project to strengthen Pakistan’s seed sector.

Issuer University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF) — Innovation Manager, Quality Seed Project, National Seed Research and Training Center (NSRTC)
Purpose Partner with registered private seed companies to produce and supply Early Generation Seed (EGS/ECS) of approved and enlisted varieties through structured collaboration, ensuring genetic purity, field management, and agreed pricing.
Scope of Partnership
  • UAF will produce Early Generation Seed (EGS/ECS) of approved and enlisted varieties on behalf of partner companies.
  • Ensure maintenance of genetic purity, adherence to field crop management protocols and production standards.
  • Supply ECS at mutually agreed pre-determined prices.
Partner (Seed Company) Responsibilities
  • Obtain seed certification through the Federal Seed Certification & Registration Department (FSC&RD).
  • Handle processing, packaging, marketing, sales and supply-chain feedback under a co-branding arrangement with UAF.
Eligibility / Eligibility Criteria
  • EOIs invited from registered seed companies with a proven track record in seed production, marketing and sales.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
  • Relevant experience with the crops and varieties of interest.
