District Education Officer (Special Education), Rawalpindi Division invites applications for contract appointments of Special Education teaching staff, Speech Therapist and Computer Teacher for special education institutions across Rawalpindi Division (Rawalpindi, Murree, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal & Talagang).

For VI posts, certificate of proficiency in Braille issued by Directorate General of Special Education, Punjab, is required where specified. | 21–28 years |
| Senior Special Education Teacher (HI / VI / PD / MC) | 17 | M.A. or BS (first division or grade-B) in Special Education with specialization in the relevant field or equivalent qualification from a university recognized by HEC. For VI posts, certificate of proficiency in Braille issued by Directorate General of Special Education, Punjab, is required where specified. | 21–28 years |
| Speech Therapist | 17 | Relevant qualification in Speech & Language Therapy: post-graduate diploma in Speech & Language Pathology or BS/BSc (Hons) in Speech & Language Therapy or equivalent qualification recognized by HEC. | 21–28 years |
| Computer Teacher | 16 | BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or equivalent qualification from a university recognized by HEC. | 21–28 years |
Age relaxation: Male: up to 5 years; Female: up to 8 years; Disabled persons: up to 15 years (subject to disability certificate).
Engagement terms: Purely temporary, school-specific and non-transferable. Preference may be given to candidates with teaching experience. Duration: approx. 09 months (excluding summer vacations) during Financial Year 2025-26 & 2026-27 or till arrival of regular incumbents. Monthly honorarium: BPS-16: Rs. 40,000/-; BPS-17: Rs. 45,000/-. No right to regular appointment shall be conferred.
Application procedure: Interested candidates shall submit applications with attested copies of: updated CV, CNIC, Domicile, Academic Certificates/Degrees, Experience Certificates (if any) and two passport-size photographs. Applications must reach the concerned Special Education institution by hand or courier by 2026-07-18. Incomplete or late applications will not be entertained. Candidates must bring original documents at the time of interview.
