Power Planning and Monitoring Company (PPMC) invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) to form a pool of qualified consultants to support planning, policy development, design standards, renewable integration, market reforms, finance, and transmission & distribution planning. Consultants will be engaged on an as-needed basis for advisory assignments, studies, evaluations and technical support.
Key areas of expertise sought:

| Design, Standards & Material Inspection | Operationalize design & standards functions; update distribution network specifications; benchmarking and defining protocols; define & implement unified design standards across DISCOs; automate end-to-end material inspection processes; training and capacity building; technical support for procurement and materials verification. |
| Renewable Energy Integration & DSM through Advanced Digital Infrastructure | Technical input for integrating DERs (e.g., solar, storage, EVs) into distribution grid; grid impact and control studies; SCADA/EMS/ADMS improvements; policy & regulatory frameworks for energy efficiency and DSM; data governance and digital infrastructure; cyber security and standards for grid digitalization. |
| Policy, Regulatory Affairs & Market Reforms | Develop and update policy, planning and regulatory frameworks; support electricity market reforms, tariff rationalization and competitive market design; assist in regulatory proceedings and legal/technical petitions. |
| Economics, Finance & Risk Management | Design financing instruments including PPPs; cost-benefit and financial modelling; economic evaluations and risk assessment; climate and green financing for the power sector; support investment programming. |
| Transmission & Distribution Infrastructure Planning | Transmission and distribution expansion planning and reinforcement; grid operation studies (loading, stability, contingency); develop R&D/system models and scenario studies; planning for flexible grid operations and emergency preparedness. |
