Opportunity: NPPMCL invites applications for the post of Chief Executive Officer to lead and oversee the Company’s power generation operations and corporate management.

| Key Responsibilities | Provide strategic leadership; ensure smooth operation & maintenance of power plants; develop and implement business plans aligned with government energy policy; liaise with stakeholders (Ministry, NEPRA, CPPA-G, etc.); ensure governance and timely reporting to the Board; oversee performance improvements; identify and mitigate financial, operational and legal risks; develop HR strategies. |
| Minimum Qualifications | Graduate degree from an HEC-recognized institution in one of the following or equivalent: Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Commerce, Marketing; Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Mechatronics) registered with PEC; or membership of a recognized professional accounting body. |
| Minimum Experience | At least 10 years of senior management experience in governance, business administration, finance, commerce, marketing or related fields; or experience as a Chief Executive or senior manager in commercially-oriented organizations; or equivalent senior role (e.g., head of department of a professional institute). |
| Other Requirements | Must meet the Fit & Proper Criteria under Schedule-IV of the State-Owned Enterprises (Governance and Operations) Act, 2021. Selected candidate appointed on a performance-based contract for three (03) years, extendable at Board discretion. Maximum age: 58 years on closing date. |
