Tender Notice: Local Purchase of Medicines & Surgical Items — PHQ Teaching Hospital Gilgit

Issuer: Medical Superintendent, PHQ Teaching Hospital Gilgit (Government of Gilgit Baltistan). Sealed tenders are invited from reputed, experienced, licensed and registered firms, distributors, dealers, manufacturers, pharmacies and service providers for supply of medicines and surgical items for Financial Year 2026-27.

Key instructions and terms:

1. Tender received after the stipulated date and time will not be entertained.

2. A bid security / CDR from a scheduled bank must accompany the bid; otherwise the offer will be rejected.

3. Only registered firms having valid licenses and registrations are eligible to participate.

4. Quotations must be submitted on the firm’s original letterhead, duly signed and stamped.

5. If the tender opening date is declared a public / local holiday, the tender will be opened on the next working day at the same time and venue.

6. Rates must be computerized and free from cutting, overwriting or erasing.

7. The bidder shall submit an original affidavit regarding non-blacklisting and absence of litigation against the firm/company.

8. The procuring agency reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in accordance with applicable procurement rules.

9. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Security equal to ten percent (10%) of the annual estimated contract value within the prescribed period after issuance of the Letter of Acceptance.

10. Tender documents with specific terms and conditions are available from the office of the undersigned during office hours on written request on payment of the tender document fee (treasury challan) of Rs. 1,200/-. Without the treasury challan of the tender fee, no tender copy will be issued.

11. The successful bidder shall establish and maintain a medicine dispensing facility within PHQ Teaching Hospital Gilgit or within a radius of 100 meters of the hospital premises. If such a facility is not available at the time of bidding, it shall be established within two (02) days after award of the contract.
