National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) invites applications for senior Wing Head positions within its Digital Banking group based in Karachi. Two VP/SVP-level roles are open: Wing Head – BI Data Governance & Analytics and Wing Head – DBG Strategy & Business Planning. Appointments are contractual for three years (subject to renewal) and only shortlisted candidates will be invited for panel interviews.

Data management certifications (e.g., CDMP, DGSP/ICCP) preferred. | Minimum 8 years’ experience in Data Management / Data Governance / related fields; experience in governance frameworks, data quality, metadata management and data lineage preferred. | Design and implement enterprise-wide data governance and stewardship; develop standards, policies and operating procedures; establish data quality, stewardship and accountability frameworks; lead metadata, data lineage, cataloging and MDM initiatives; select and manage data governance tools; report KPIs and insights to senior management; drive data privacy, protection and compliance. |
| Wing Head – DBG Strategy & Business Planning (VP / SVP) | Divisional Head – Digital Analytics, Insights & Strategy | Minimum Graduation from HEC-recognized institution. Bachelor's / Master’s in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science or related fields. Certifications such as Certified Digital Business Strategist, CFA, PMP or Certified Product Manager preferred. | Minimum 8 years’ experience in Digital Banking, Business Strategy or Strategic Planning within fintech, telecom, digital banking or financial institutions; at least 4 years in a managerial role driving digital transformation or business planning initiatives. | Develop and maintain Digital Banking strategy roadmap; lead strategic planning, business cases and executive presentations; drive digital transformation initiatives, ROI measurement and strategic KPIs; evaluate emerging technologies and business models; coordinate cross-functional execution across technology, operations, risk, finance and business units. |
Additional details:
- Employment type: Contractual for three years, renewable at management discretion. Selected candidates will receive compensation package and benefits as per Bank’s policy.
