Auction Notice: Minor Minerals Leases — District Malakand

District Auction Committee, Malakand invites applications from registered contractors of Minor Minerals for participation in an auction to grant Minor Mineral Mining Leases in District Malakand under Section-78(3) of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mines & Minerals Act, 2017. Auctions will be held in the office of the Deputy Commissioner Malakand on 2026-11-02 at 02:00 PM; if required the next date is 2026-11-03 at 02:00 PM. Application submission deadline: 2026-10-29.

Eligibility & application details: Only persons/firms registered with the Directorate General Mines & Minerals Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as Minor Minerals Contractors may participate. Application form (non-refundable) is available at a cost of Rs. 10,200 (including KPPRA sales tax). Applicants must submit attested copies of CNIC, NTN/income tax registration, and partnership deed/memorandum & articles of association where applicable. Blacklisted or defaulting persons/firms are not eligible.

Payment and deposits: Call deposits (25% of reserved price) must be deposited to Account No. 0066-2008140092 and application fee to Account No. 0066-2008209319 at any branch of Bank of Khyber. The successful bidder shall deposit one-fourth (1/4) of the total bid money as security within three days of auction; failure to comply may result in forfeiture and award to the next highest bidder subject to conditions.

Other important conditions: Interested parties may inspect the advertised areas and obtain sketches from the office before the auction. The successful bidder will be responsible for demarcation costs, payment of excise duty and any taxes as required by relevant authorities, and must comply with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mines & Minerals Act, 2017 and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mining of Minor Minerals from River Bed Rules 2022.
