Punjab Highways Department Tender: Widening & Improvement of Gujranwala Bypass (Awan Chowk) — Bid Closing 2026-10-05

Issuer: Punjab Highways Department — Road Construction Division, Gujranwala. Procuring Entity: Executive Engineer, Road Construction Division, Gujranwala. Tenders are invited via the Punjab e-Procurement (PPRA e-Tendering) system from registered Engineering Firms/Contractors for the works listed below. Participating firms must be registered on the Punjab PPA website and hold valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration with the relevant category/code and a renewed PEC license for the Financial Year 2026-27.

Key instructions:

• Submission & opening will be through the Punjab e-Procurement System only. Manual bids and manual bank instruments for bid submission are not acceptable.
• Bid security (Bid Bond) equal to 5% of the estimated cost must be submitted digitally through the Punjab e-Procurement System in favour of the Executive Engineer, Road Construction Division, Gujranwala. Physical bid securities (CDR, pay order, demand draft, etc.) will not be accepted.
• The lowest evaluated bidder shall submit a Performance Guarantee of 10% of the Contract Amount within 15 days of receipt of the letter of acceptance. Acceptable instruments for Performance Guarantee include CDR, Bank Draft, Cashier's Cheque, Pay Order or Bank Guarantee valid for the required period.
• Completion periods and other conditions are as specified in the bidding documents. Rates quoted shall be considered firm and non-responsive bids will be rejected according to PPRA rules.
• All bidders are required to upload bids on the e-Procurement website. Bids will be opened publicly at the Office of the Superintending Engineer, Highway Circle Gujranwala.
