Opportunity: Appointment of Vice Chancellor for the University of Computing Sciences and Information Technology (UCIT), Swat. Candidates of exceptional integrity and intellectual vision are invited.

| Minimum qualification | Ph.D. in Computing Sciences or Information Technology |
| Experience | At least 15 years of teaching/research experience in HEC-recognized universities or postgraduate institutions or relevant professional experience in national/international organizations |
| Research | Minimum 30 research papers with at least 10 as principal author |
| Administrative experience | At least 5 years of administrative experience in higher education; experience as Professor or equivalent |
| Other | Experience of working with international bodies, national academia or projects is desirable |
Desirable skills and competencies include strong academic leadership, vision for institutional development, integrity, and the ability to engage with national and international academic bodies. The Academic Search Committee will evaluate applicants and shortlist candidates for further screening; shortlisted candidates will undergo medical and security checks as per rules.
