Tender Notice FY 2026-27 — Purchase of Medicines (THQ Hospital Shorkot)

Health & Population Department, Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital Shorkot invites sealed bids under an annual framework contract from eligible and qualified firms, companies and service providers for the purchase of medicines for FY 2026-27. Procurement will be carried out in accordance with Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 (with latest amendments).

Key instructions and eligibility:

- Bidders must be registered with relevant Registration Authorities and Tax Departments (Income Tax, Sales Tax, Punjab Sales Tax). Status must be up to date.

- Firms must have a proven track record of supply of hospital-related items to Government or large private organizations. Evaluation of tenders shall be carried out on a lot-wise basis.

- Bidders should obtain bidding documents from the Office of Medical Superintendent, THQ Hospital Shorkot during office hours and read them carefully.

- Complete bidding documents duly signed and stamped must be submitted before the closing date. Bids/Tenders shall be properly compiled with page numbers and signature & stamp on each page by the authorized bidder.

- All rates must be quoted in Pakistani Rupees inclusive of all applicable taxes. Bids shall remain valid for 180 days from the date of opening.

- Procurement procedure: Single Stage Two Envelope in accordance with Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 (with latest amendments).

- All bids must be accompanied by the required bid security in the shape of CDR / Bank Draft. The bid security shall be submitted physically before the closing date.

- The competent authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids as per Punjab Procurement Rules 2014.

- If the closing date is a public holiday, the next working day shall be considered the closing date.
