C&W Highway Division Mardan Re‑Tender Notice for Road & Bridge Works (EPADS)

Issuing authority: Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Communication & Works Department — C&W Highway Division, Mardan. Electronic bids (E-PADS) are invited from eligible firms/contractors in accordance with KPPRA Procurement Rules 2014 under Single Stage Single Envelope EP‑Acquisition and Disposable System (EPADS).

Submission method: E-bids must be submitted electronically via the E-PAD System. Bid security in the shape of CDR (bank name, CDR number(s) and date(s)) must be submitted electronically along with E-PAD submission. All bidders must be registered with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority under Finance Act, 2013 (Act No. XXI of 2013).

Important notes: Contractors quoting more than 10% below Engineer's estimate shall submit bid security @2% only of Engineer Estimate; those quoting more than 10% below up to 20% shall submit their 8% additional security of Engineers Estimated Cost in addition to 2% bid security; contractors quoting more than 20% below shall submit additional security equal to the differential amount. The procuring entity may offer the contract to the next lowest bidder after due diligence. Additional security may be replaced by a Bank Guarantee. Additional security will be released in four installments after commencement of work by the successful bidder.
