Buyer Beware: M/s Chahat Foods Industries Properties Mortgaged to National Bank of Pakistan (Pending Suit)

National Bank of Pakistan (Regal Chowk Branch / Physical Assets Management Dept., North Regional HQ, Lahore) issues a buyer-beware notice regarding properties mortgaged by M/s Chahat Foods Industries (by Ms. Anila Arif, Muhammad Arif and Muhammad Faizan, directors/guarantors) to secure a loan.

The mortgaged assets include a 24-kanal (three-acre) ghee mill/factory at Chak No. E8-217 in Tehsil Burewala, District Vehari; a commercial plot No. 160 measuring 8 marla in Block CC2; and a property in Defence Housing Society, Lahore. The bank has filed a suit in Banking Court No. 2, Lahore (National Bank of Pakistan v. M/s Chahat Foods Industries) which is pending. Any purchase of these properties will be at the buyer's own risk for profit or loss.
