The Election Commission of Pakistan has notified the Technology Movement of Pakistan Party for failing to hold required intra-party elections. By letter dated 2025-12-17 (Confd-2021 (12) 2) the Commission had directed the party to hold intra-party elections on 2026-02-23; the party did not comply and a show-cause notice was issued on 2026-03-18.
A hearing is scheduled at the Election Commission on 2026-07-08. The party must submit the related intra-party election documents to the Commission as required under Sections 208–209 of the Election Act, 2017; otherwise proceedings under Section 215 of the Act will be initiated.
