PMDC Vacancy: Marketing / Export Promotion Officer – Salt Business (Islamabad)

Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC), a state-owned enterprise under the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), invites applications for the post of Marketing / Export Promotion Officer for its Salt Business on an open contract basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new customers, distributors, dealers, importers, exporters, retailers, and institutional buyers.
• Identify and develop new domestic and international markets using market intelligence, data analytics, and business intelligence tools; generate qualified sales leads and identify new business opportunities.
• Promote PMDC salt products through digital marketing, social media, B2B platforms, exhibitions, trade fairs, business meetings, and other promotional channels.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers and ensure effective follow-up of inquiries and leads.
• Prepare quotations, commercial offers, product presentations, samples, and other marketing materials in coordination with relevant departments.
• Explore opportunities for bulk, retail, food-grade, industrial, value-added, and private-label salt products in local and export markets.
• Assist in export-related activities including coordination of documentation, shipment arrangements, payment terms, and other commercial requirements.
• Support management in preparation and achievement of local and export sales targets and annual marketing plans.
• Perform other duties related to sales, marketing, export promotion, and business development as assigned by management.
