Pakistan Reinsurance Company Limited (PRCL) invites applications for the position of Chief Medical Officer on a contractual basis.

Position	Chief Medical Officer (contract)
Location	PRCL Head Office (reporting to Chief Administration Officer or authorized officer)
Minimum Qualifications	MBBS from an HEC-recognized institute. MCPS in Family Medicine or equivalent foreign qualification or higher qualification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine is a plus.
Experience	At least three (3) years' experience in healthcare administration of a corporate set-up, company, or hospital as of the closing date of applications.
Key Responsibilities	Visit PRCL head office daily for five (5) hours and scrutinize medical files and hospital bills. Check, verify and countersign medical reimbursement claims of PRCL employees and their families. Attend patient consultations as per HR Manual; issue reference letters and other medical advice. Carry out medical examination for newly recruited employees and refer patients to panel hospitals/approved specialists as needed. Conduct random visits to panel hospitals to liaise with panel hospital authorities regarding patient treatment. Provide technical assistance to PRCL Administration Department on medical matters and assist PRCL in implementing medical rules/regulations and policies. Any other task assigned by the Chief Executive Officer or authorized officer.
Terms & Conditions	Initial appointment is for two years, extendable subject to performance and mutual agreement. Selected candidate will be paid a fixed monthly amount as a consultancy fee; exact amount to be decided in the interview and commensurate with verifiable experience. Role may require travel within or outside Pakistan with prior approval of the CEO. Maximum age limit: 50 years on the closing date of applications.
