Complete details of Bid Security in the shape of CDR (bank name, CDR number(s) and date(s)) must be submitted electronically along with bids through the E-PAD system. All bidders are required to be registered with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority under Finance Act, 2013 (Act No. XXI of 2013).
Notable terms: contractors quoting more than 10% below the Engineer's Estimate shall submit additional securities as specified (different slabs apply for >10% to 20% and >20% below). The procuring entity may award the contract to the next lowest bidder after due diligence. Additional security may be replaced by a Bank Guarantee after commencement of work and will be released in instalments as per terms.
