| Qualifications | Master’s or advanced university degree, preferably Ph.D., in Statistics, Economics or a relevant subject. Degree preferably from a leading international university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. |
| Experience | Minimum 20 years’ professional experience with at least 5 years in senior management/leadership positions of significant size and importance; experience in managing large-scale statistical operations and national statistical surveys. |
| Skills & Responsibilities | Technical knowledge of statistics, national and international economic and management skills; experience compiling National Income Accounts, economic statistics and related areas; leadership and research record on social & economic issues; ability to develop and manage statistical standards, research capacity and coordination with national/international bodies. |
| Term & Salary | Appointment term five (5) years. Salary on Special Professional Pay Scale-II. Re-appointment possible through a competitive process subject to satisfactory performance. |
| Age Limit | Maximum 60 years on closing date |
