National Bank of Pakistan invites applications for the post of GL Control Officer (OG-II) for the GL Control Unit. The appointment is based at Karachi on a contractual basis for three years, renewable at Management's discretion. Only shortlisted candidates meeting basic eligibility will be invited for test / panel interview.

| Educational / Professional Qualifications | Minimum 02 years’ Diploma/Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university/college/institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan and/or with ACCA Qualified and/or ICMA Qualified and/or CA Part Qualified. |
| Experience | Minimum 02 years of experience in Finance and/or Accounts and/or Article Ship preferably with a financial institution and/or audit firm. Hands-on experience in handling GL accounts preferred. |
| Skills / Knowledge | Understanding of business and financial acumen; good communication, report writing and analytical skills; Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word; basic understanding of Power BI; well conversant with regulatory guidelines. |
| Key Responsibilities | Collect data regarding GL balancing and validation for review; reconcile non-balancing and non-validation GL issues; compile reasons for non-balancing; maintain and update outstanding GL balancing and non-validation issues; assist in identifying recurring GL balancing discrepancies and provide information for corrective action; prepare summarized reports on non-balancing and non-validation of GLs for Unit Head; prepare monthly, quarterly and annual MIS reports for GL balancing and other assigned tasks. |
| Employment Type | Contractual for three years (may be renewed). Selected candidates will be offered compensation package and benefits as per Bank’s policy/rules. |
| Assessment | Shortlisted candidates will be called for test and/or panel interview. No TA/DA for test/interview. |
