GCU Faisalabad Tender 882/12/2026 for Furniture and Fixtures

Government College University, Faisalabad, Directorate of Procurement and Inventory Control, invites sealed tenders from reputable firms and suppliers registered with the Sales Tax and Income Tax Departments for the supply of furniture and fixtures to various university departments.

Tender documents can be downloaded from the PPRA and GCUF websites. Complete bids conforming to the tender documents must be uploaded to the Punjab E-Procurement System through the PPRA portal at https://eproc.punjab.gov.pk/viewTender.aspx within the scheduled submission time. Late tenders will not be accepted. Tenders will be opened on the same day according to the PPRA website schedule, in the presence of vendors, firms or their representatives who wish to attend.

Procurement will be conducted under the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 using the Single Stage–Two Envelope procedure, comprising technical and financial bids.

Each bid must include refundable bid security equal to 5% of the estimated price, in the form of a CDR, bank draft or bank guarantee in favour of “Treasurer GCUF”. The original bid security must be received before the closing date and time. Incomplete or non-responsive bids, unsigned or unstamped bids, bids without bid security, bids with other technical deficiencies, and bids submitted through a mode other than the prescribed method will not be considered.

Income Tax and Sales Tax registration certificates, CNIC and all other documents required by the tender documents must accompany the bid. Taxes will be deducted according to Government of Pakistan and Government of Punjab rules. Participating firms must not be blacklisted by the university.

The response period will be calculated exclusively from the date of publication of the tender announcement on the PPRA website.

The university may reject all bids or proposals at any time before acceptance under PPRA Punjab Rule 35. Upon a bidder’s request, the grounds for rejection will be communicated to that bidder, but justification will not be provided, in accordance with Rule 35(2).
