WAPDA Tender for Garbage Collection System at Tarbela Left Bank Colony

The Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA), through the General Manager/Project Director, Tarbela 5th Extension Hydropower Project, invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of a garbage collection system for Left Bank Colony-TDP under Social Development Plan T-5HP.

WAPDA, through the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, has received World Bank financing for the project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under this contract.

Bidding will follow National Competitive Bidding procedures under the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers, dated January 2011 and revised in 2014. Participation is open to eligible manufacturers, suppliers and vendors duly registered with the Federal Board of Revenue as active taxpayers. Bidders should refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 of the guidelines concerning the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the project office during office hours, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased in person by submitting a written application to the address below and paying a non-refundable fee of Rs. 5,000 through a bank draft in favour of General Manager & PD Tarbela 5th Extension Hydropower Project.

Bid submission deadline: December 1, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Bids must be delivered to the address below. Electronic bidding is not permitted, and late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened at the same address on December 1, 2026, at 11:30 a.m., in the presence of bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who wishes to attend.

All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of PKR 600,000.
