Gujranwala Municipal Corporation Parking Plaza Rooftop Lease Auction

Municipal Corporation Gujranwala invites bids for leasing the rooftop of its parking plaza for an initial period of 15 years. The auction will be held at the Municipal Corporation office in Gujranwala.

The auction is scheduled for 17 November 2026 at 11:00 AM. If the auction cannot be completed, it will be held on 18 November 2026, with a further auction date of 19 November 2026.

The lease is subject to the Punjab Local Government Property Rules 2018. The initial 15-year term is governed by Rule 16(C), and rent will increase by 10% annually under Rule 16(D). Security and other lease requirements are subject to the applicable provisions of Rules 16(E) and 16(F).

Participants must submit the required security through a call deposit receipt (CDR) in favour of Municipal Corporation Gujranwala and provide their identity documents. The successful bidder must complete the required agreement and payment formalities. Failure to fulfil the auction conditions may result in forfeiture of the deposited security.

Development and construction work must conform to the specifications and plans approved by Municipal Corporation Gujranwala. The lessee must obtain the necessary permissions and NOCs and bear the associated expenses. Ownership of the property will remain with the Municipal Corporation, and the lessee must comply with the restrictions applicable under Rule 16(G).

The successful bidder will be responsible for applicable taxes, including income tax and sales tax, and for the obligations arising from occupation and use of the premises. The lease will also be governed by the Punjab Rented Premises Act 2009. Disputes will be dealt with under the Arbitration Act 1940 through the Chief Officer, Municipal Corporation Gujranwala.
