Sindh High Court Notice to Syed Samiullah in Customs Reference Application No. 268 of 2024

The High Court of Sindh at Karachi has issued a notice to Syed Samiullah, son of Syed Noor Muhammad, CNIC No. 54303-3416874-3, residing at Post Office and Tehsil Haramzai, Kangal Killi, District Pishin, in Special Customs Reference Application No. 268 of 2024, connected with SCRA No. 267/2024. The proceedings are titled Director D.G. I&I (Customs), Karachi versus Syed Samiullah and another.

The applicant has filed the reference application under Section 196 of the Customs Act, 1969, against the order dated 22 January 2024 passed by the Customs Appellate Tribunal, Bench-II, Karachi, in Customs Appeal No. K-1854/2023. The reference and applications were fixed for hearing on 28 September 2026, when the Court ordered service of notice through publication.

Syed Samiullah is required to appear before the High Court of Sindh at Karachi, personally or through a duly instructed pleader, on 11 November 2026 at 8:15 a.m. to show cause why the references and applications should not be admitted. In the event of nonappearance, the references and applications will be heard, admitted and decided in his absence.
