Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Extends Illegal Housing Scheme Regularization Deadline to 31 December 2026

The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Local Government Elections & Rural Development Department, Land Use & Building Control Authority announces that the Provincial Land Use and Building Control Council has extended the deadline for developers to submit applications to bring illegal housing schemes into the legal framework to 31 December 2026.

Owners of all existing illegal housing schemes in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are given this final opportunity to submit their applications to the relevant Local Planning Enforcement Unit and complete the necessary steps for regularization. After the stipulated period, strict action under criminal law will be taken against housing schemes that fail to meet legal requirements.

Public advisory: Protect your savings by fully verifying the legal status of any housing scheme before investing. Invest only in housing schemes approved by the Land Use and Building Control Authority, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Investors will themselves be responsible for losses resulting from investment in other schemes.
