Military Engineer Services invites applications for contractor and firm prequalification through GE (DP), ARF PAC Kamra for the following 21 works. Applications must be submitted within 15 days after publication of the advertisement. Tender documents will subsequently be issued to qualified contractors and firms.

11	Rehabilitation of external electrical services at different locations in the domestic area.
12	Miscellaneous B&R items in the domestic/technical area, ARF PAC Kamra.
13	Miscellaneous F&S items in the domestic/technical area, ARF PAC Kamra.

15	Provision of a parking shed in the technical area.

The at-par cost, expressed in millions, is given in the respective tender documents. Duly priced tenders must reach GE (DP), ARF PAC Kamra by 11:30 hours on the date prescribed in each tender document and will be opened at 12:00 hours that day.

Contractors and firms must provide a certificate confirming that they are not involved in litigation with any government department in a court of law and that no special report from the Directorate of Inspection and Evaluation, Engineer-in-Chief's Branch, GHQ Rawalpindi, is outstanding against them.

All contractors and firms, whether enlisted with MES or not, must certify in writing that they are registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and submit a copy of their PEC registration. Firms and contractors enlisted with MES in category E and above may apply. Contractors and firms outside the MES approved list must deposit earnest money equal to 2% of the estimated cost.

Applicants must furnish a certificate with their application detailing works executed during the last two years and works currently in hand. The required particulars are serial number; name of work; executing agency, such as PWD, P&R or CDA; work amount; time allowed in months; actual completion time; percentage progress of work in hand; and the departmental performance report for each work from the Divisional Engineer/XEN.

Interested parties and contractors may contact the issuing office for further information from 09:00 to 14:30 hours on any working day before the due date. Contractors may attend the tender opening. The accepting officer reserves the right to accept or reject a tender before acceptance. Rejected tenders will be dealt with under paragraph 33(1) of the PPRA Rules.
