The University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF) invites Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from reputable, registered private seed sector companies for a strategic Academia-Industrial Linkages project to produce and supply Early Generation Seed (EGS) for certified seed production and farmer supply.

Purpose Select registered private seed companies for structured collaboration to produce Early Generation Seed (EGS) of approved and enlisted varieties, ensuring high quality seed availability.
UAF Scope of Partnership
  • Produce EGS of approved/enlisted varieties on behalf of partner companies.
  • Ensure maintenance of genetic purity; adherence to field crop management protocols and compliance with production standards.
  • Supply EGS at a mutually agreed, predetermined price.
Partner seed company responsibilities
  • Secure seed certification through the Federal Seed Certification & Registration Department (FSC&RD).
  • Processing, packaging, marketing, sales and supply-chain feedback of the seed under a co-branding arrangement with UAF.
Eligibility Criteria
  • Registered seed companies with a valid certificate of registration.
  • Proven track record in seed production, marketing and sales.
  • Commitment to quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
  • Relevant experience with the crops and varieties of interest.
