Pre-Qualification Notice: Construction & Augmentation of Base Godown Storage Capacity

Issuer: Executive Engineer, PWD Maintenance Division, Muzaffarabad (Physical Planning & Housing Department, Govt of State Azad Jammu & Kashmir). Invitation for pre-qualification of contractors for construction works as detailed below.

Key requirements and instructions:

- Pre-qualification is open to contractors registered with PEC in Category C-3 and above (Code CE-10) for Construction and Operation of Engineering Works.

- Minimum pre-qualification experience: successfully completed at least two (02) projects of similar nature, each having value of PKR 256.000 million or more in the last 05 years (as stated).

- Prospective bidders must obtain username and login details from the IT Section Office of the Chief Engineer Building/PHE Muzaffarabad (Block “H”, DHQ Muzaffarabad) and may get necessary training about the e-bidding procedure. Bidders/firms already registered with the department can use existing usernames and logins.

- Applications for pre-qualification must be uploaded in PDF format on the E-Bidding dashboard of the prospective bidder on or before 29th June 2016 at 11:00 AM. The E-tendering system will open submissions and display the list of participants thereafter.

- Applicants will be informed in writing by fax or mail within 42 days of the date for submission of applications. The Employer reserves the right to accept or reject any bid as per applicable rules.
