Pakistan Railways Tender — Outsourcing 5 Railway Schools on PPP (Rehabilitate, Upgrade, Operate & Transfer)

Pakistan Railways Headquarters Office, Lahore invites proposals from reputable firms/companies with experience in the education sector to undertake the rehabilitation, upgrade, operation and transfer (RUOT) of five Pakistan Railways schools on a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) basis for a concession period of 30 years (including a 2-year mobilization period).

How to obtain Proposal Documents (RFP):

• RFP, bidding documents and draft agreement can be downloaded from the Pakistan Railways website (www.pakrail.gov.pk) or PPRA website for information only.
• Prospective bidders must obtain the hard form of the RFP from the Office of the Director General/Education by paying Rs. 10,000 in cash (mandatory for participation).

Pre-bid conference and proposal opening:

• A pre-bid conference will be held on 20th August at 11:00 AM at the Directorate of Education, Pakistan Railways Headquarters Office, Empress Road, Lahore.
• Technical proposals will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives at the stated opening time (technical opening time indicated as 2:30 PM in the notice).

Submission and other instructions:

• Interested firms/companies should follow instructions in the RFP regarding required bid security, proposal format and submission procedures.
• Pakistan Railways reserves the right to withdraw the bidding process at any time without assigning any reason.
