Public Notice — RAK Ceramics Trademark Enforcement and Warning in Pakistan

Issuer: RAK Ceramics PJSC (Ras Al Khaimah, UAE), registered proprietor of the trademarks “RAK”, “RAK CERAMICS” and “RAK PORCELAIN” in Pakistan. Purpose: to inform traders, dealers, retailers, importers, wholesalers and the general public across Pakistan that the company has initiated legal proceedings and obtained injunctive relief to prevent unauthorized use, sale or distribution of its products and marks, and to warn against counterfeit or infringing goods.

By Order dated 2006-03-17, the Hon’ble Tribunal has restrained specified persons and anyone acting through or under them from using the trademarks “RAK” or any identical or deceptively similar mark in relation to tiles, ceramics, sanitaryware, or related products. RAK Ceramics warns that it will take strict legal action against manufacturers, distributors or dealers dealing in counterfeit or infringing products, and against anyone procuring, selling or assisting in the sale of such goods.

Warning: Any person or entity dealing in counterfeit and/or infringing “RAK” branded products, procuring or selling unauthorized products, or passing off inferior goods as genuine is liable to be proceeded against under applicable law. RAK Ceramics reserves the right to initiate appropriate legal proceedings against offenders.
