Medicines Sans Frontières (MSF) invites applications for the position of Nurse Midwife (female candidates only). Motivated candidates from Khyber District are encouraged to apply. This is a locally hired clinical role based at Dogra Hospital with duties focused on maternal, neonatal and pediatric nursing care in a low-resource setting.

| Main duties | Provide nursing care, treatment and follow-up of patients according to doctors' prescriptions; ensure infection prevention and hygiene standards; provide obstetrical care to pregnant women and newborns, during delivery and post-delivery; provide antenatal care and refer complicated cases; ensure health education and post-delivery follow-up; work under supervision of a specialist doctor to ensure quality of care. |
| Education & qualifications | Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Midwifery with valid PNC (essential). Desirable: specialization in midwifery and neonatology. |
| Experience | At least 1 year working experience in pediatrics, neonatal or maternity as a nurse or midwife is desirable. Previous experience in low-resource settings and/or NGOs is desirable. |
| Languages | English, Pashto and Urdu (required) |
| Competencies | Teamwork and cooperation, behavioral flexibility, commitment to MSF principles. |
