MCB Bank Limited, plaintiff in Banking Court No. V, Karachi, has filed Suit No. 110 of 2026 under the Financial Institutions (Recovery of Finances) Ordinance No. XLVI of 2001 seeking recovery of Rs. 148,784.71 (plus costs, fee charges, mark-up/interest and expenses) from the defendant Syeda Faiza (wife of Syed Imran Akbar), resident of Flat No. 611, Human Heights, Karachi.
The defendant is summoned to appear in court on 2025-08-04 at 08:30 AM and must apply for leave to defend the suit within thirty (30) days from service by filing a written statement summarizing substantial questions of law and fact. In default, the plaintiff may obtain a decree with costs and applicable mark-up/interest.
