Issuer: K-Electric (KE). Purpose: Public safety warning about unauthorised wires, cables and equipment encroaching on KE power infrastructure.

Summary of risks and actions: KE warns that private internet providers, TV cable operators and others installing untrained or unauthorised wiring on transmission towers, distribution poles, transformers and related equipment create serious hazards — sparking, short-circuits, fire, current leakage and risk of fatalities.
