MEPCO Multan Tender (10 July 2026) – Transportation, Handling & Erection of HT/LT Spun Poles

Issuer: Multan Electric Power Company Limited (MEPCO), Executive Engineer (OP), MEPCO Cantt Division Multan. Sealed tenders are invited from PEC-registered contractors (Classes A, B, C & D) with renewed enlistment for Year 2025-26 and field specialization EE-04, EE-05 or CE-10.

Important procurement conditions: original documents and attested copies including CNIC of contractor/partner/director required; tender documents available 08:00–16:00 after publication from the office of Executive Engineer (OP), Cantt Division Multan on payment of Rs. 2,000 (non-refundable). Earnest money: 3% of tender amount as Call Deposit issued by scheduled banks in Pakistan (foreign bank deposits must be counter-guaranteed by a scheduled bank in Pakistan). If quoted price is lower by 20% or more than analyzed/approved rates, bidder must submit 5% performance security as CDR within 15 days of approval; failure may lead to cancellation and forfeiture of earnest money. Five percent security returned on successful completion of work. Tenders governed by PPRA rules. Time period of rates: one year from agreement date (may be curtailed/extended per MEPCO needs).

Pre-qualification and eligibility: bidders must be pre-qualified/enlisted with WAPDA/PEPCO/DISCOs/NTDC/MEPCO, must have completed at least three similar contracts with end-user certificates (total value of completed contracts should be at least 80% of the bid value), must demonstrate cash or cash equivalents equal to minimum 40% of contract value (provide bank statements for last 12 months), must submit income tax returns for last two years and be registered with PRA.

Submission & opening: Tenders will be received in the office of Executive Engineer (OP), MEPCO Cantt Division Multan up to 02:30 PM on 2026-07-10. Bids will be opened the same date after 30 minutes of the closing time of bids (04:00 PM) in presence of contractors or authorized representatives with power of attorney. No conditional tenders.
