District Council Bahawalnagar invites sealed bids through EPADS (https://punjab.eprocure.gov.pk/) from contractors enlisted/renewed for the financial year 2025-26 with the Pakistan Engineering Council. Bidding will follow the Single Stage One Envelope procedure under Punjab Procurement Rules 2014. Bids must be accompanied by bid security (CDR) from any scheduled bank in Punjab in favor of District Council Bahawalnagar.
Key submission requirements and dates:
- Tender documents available for download from PPRA website and EPADS free of cost until 2026-06-29 during office hours.
- Submit bids on EPADS by 2026-06-29 at 11:00 AM. Bids will be opened on EPADS the same day at 11:30 AM in the office of the District Council Bahawalnagar in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives.
- Required documents: valid Pakistan Engineering Council license with relevant codes, earnest money 5% of estimated cost in the form of CDR in favor of Chief Officer District Council Bahawalnagar.
- Original CDR must be submitted to the office before the specified time; failure to do so will result in action as per PPRA circular LSM (PPRA) 10-1/2021 dated 11-10-2021.
- Contractors must quote rates in numbers and words on a percentage/item-rate basis. If the lowest bid is equal to or less than 5% below the estimate, the lowest bidder must deposit additional performance security to bring total security to 10% within 15 days of notice. Quality control tests are the contractor's responsibility. Procuring agency may reject bids as per PPRA Rule 35.
