GE (Army) Karachi Tender Notice for Minor Maintenance, E&M & W&S Works and Contractor Appointment

General Engineer (Army), Karachi (GE (Army) Kci), 29 Liaquat Barracks Karachi, invites sealed tenders for a number of minor maintenance, deposit and contractor appointment works under PPRA Rules 13(1) & 28 of 2004. Tender documents will state estimated costs where applicable. Sealed tenders must be submitted to the accepting officer and will be opened on the same date.

Eligibility & Requirements: Applicants must submit applications to GE (Army) Kci, 29 Liaquat Barracks Karachi for issuance of tender documents along with credentials. Tender documents will only be issued to firms/contractors with sufficient relevant experience and who meet special conditions for the job/area.

Contractors must provide a certificate that they are not involved in any litigation with a government department and that no adverse report by the Directorate of Inspection & Evaluation (E-in-C's Branch GHQ) is outstanding against them.

All contractors must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and submit a copy of their PEC registration. Contractors not registered with PEC are ineligible. Firms not on the approved MES list must submit previous experience statements with details of works executed during the last two years and works currently in hand, on the provided proforma.

Submission & Opening: Sealed tenders will be received in the office of the accepting officer by 2016-09-14 at 11:30 hours and will be opened at 12:00 hours on the same date. Interested contractors may be present at the time of opening.
