National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) invites applications for two senior compliance-related positions on a contract basis (AVP/VP level) to be based in Karachi. Employment is initially for three years, renewable at the discretion of management. Shortlisted candidates will be called for assessment/interview; no TA/DA will be admissible.

Master's degree and/or relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA/CA) preferred. | Minimum 5 years of experience in a financial institution or bank, with experience in Compliance Risk Management and/or Internal Audit and/or Control functions. | Lead compliance risk management activities; develop/implement compliance frameworks, policies and controls; liaison with regulators; maintain compliance-related databases; support training and monitoring; ensure timely submission of regulatory reports and compliance escalations. |
| Unit Head – Fraud Reporting & Whistleblower (AVP / VP) | Unit Head – Fraud Reporting & Whistleblower; reporting to Wing Head – Whistle Blow, Fraud Reporting & FLA Coordination | Minimum graduation from an HEC-recognized local or international university/college. Master's degree and/or relevant professional qualifications preferred. | Minimum 5 years of relevant banking experience in compliance, fraud investigation, audit or related functions. | Manage whistleblowing and fraud reporting function; receive, review and investigate whistleblower complaints; maintain case records and a central fraud database; coordinate with relevant departments and external stakeholders; prepare periodic reports for senior management and regulators; ensure adherence to SBP / internal policies and reporting guidelines. |
