Pakistan Meteorological Department (PIU‑PMD) Seeks Software Engineer (Individual Consultant) – EOI by 2026-09-28

Project Implementation Unit (PIU), Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from eligible individual consultants for the assignment “Selection of Software Engineer” under the Integrated Flood Resilience and Adaptation Project (IFRAP) / Modernization of Hydromet Services of PMD in Pakistan (MHSP). Financing: World Bank (Loan/Grant No. IDA‑73330). Reference: PK‑PMD‑562886‑CS‑INDV.

Contract and duty station: Full‑time on contract with PIU‑PMD, Saidpur, Islamabad. The consultant will be selected in accordance with the World Bank’s Open Competitive Selection of Individual Consultants and related Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers (November 2020).

Application requirements: (a) Letter of Expression of Interest (EOI) describing relevant qualifications, skills and experience; (b) Detailed, dated and signed Curriculum Vitae (CV) with references. Applicants must demonstrate capacity to undertake and deliver the assignment in accordance with the Terms of Reference (ToRs).

Selection will follow World Bank policies on conflict of interest and procurement regulations. The consultant will be employed on a contract basis and work primarily from the PIU office in Saidpur, Islamabad.
