Independent System & Market Operator (Guarantee) Limited (ISMO) invites applications for the position of Chief Internal Auditor on a contract basis. ISMO seeks a dynamic, qualified and experienced professional to lead internal audit, risk and compliance assurance activities for Pakistan's power system market operator.

| Purpose | Provide independent appraisal of accounting, financial, credit and operational activities; lead internal audit function and coordinate with external auditors and Audit Committee/Board. |
| Minimum Qualifications | Member of a recognized body of professional accountants (CA/CPA/ACMA/ACCA/MBA (Finance) or equivalent from a reputed local or international university/institute). |
| Experience | Minimum 12 years post-qualification relevant experience including at least 5 years in senior management or executive-level roles with demonstrated expertise in auditing, risk management, internal control design and compliance of financial reliability in public/private sector. |
| Key Responsibilities | Develop and conduct internal audit programs across all financial transactions; evaluate accounting, financial and operational activities; review adequacy and application of controls; manage and mentor audit team; coordinate with external auditors; undertake special audits and investigations as directed by the Audit Committee and Board. |
| Fit & Proper | Must meet Fit & Proper criteria defined under Schedule-IV of the State-Owned Enterprises (Governance and Operations) Act, 2023. |
