NADRA Vacancy: Assistant Director (Network Engineer – Core Networks) – Islamabad

National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA), Islamabad is hiring an Assistant Director (Network Engineer – Core Networks). The role requires a 4‑year Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecom Engineering, Software Engineering or an equivalent HEC‑attested qualification, with a maximum age of 37 years and minimum 3 years of experience in network operations.

Key responsibilities & skills: expertise in Layer 2/3 switches, core firewalls, WAF, switches, IDS/IPS; manage and troubleshoot core network elements; network optimization and bandwidth monitoring; DoS and health checks; SLA monitoring; preventive maintenance and incident management; implementation, commissioning and RMA coordination; cabling and equipment mounting; redundancy testing, backups and restoration verification; information security tasks (encryption, firewalling) for assigned elements; maintain SOPs, IP schemes, network drawings and manuals; manage inventory, vendor SLAs and coordination with HQ and audit; provide 24/7 support including shift and weekend availability; strong communication, problem‑solving and multi‑tasking skills.
