Independent System & Market Operator (ISMO) of Pakistan invites applications for the position of Chief Internal Auditor on a contract basis. ISMO seeks a dynamic, qualified and experienced professional to lead internal audit, risk and compliance functions for the organisation.

| Key Responsibilities | Evaluate accounting, financial, credit and operational activities; review soundness and application of accounting, financial and operational controls; formulate internal audit programs for all financial transactions; design and maintain effective internal controls; develop and lead audit staff; liaise with external and commercial auditors; coordinate with the Audit Committee and Board; evaluate compliance function design and effectiveness. |
| Eligibility / Qualifications | Member of a recognised professional accountancy body or equivalent qualification (CA/CPA/ACMA/ACCA/MBA Finance) from a reputed local or international institute. |
| Experience | Minimum 12 years post-qualification relevant experience, including at least 5 years in senior management or executive-level roles with demonstrated expertise in auditing, risk management, internal controls and compliance—especially in public/semi-public/SoE environments. |
| Fit & Proper | Candidate must meet Fit & Proper criteria as defined under Schedule-IV of the State-Owned Enterprises (Governance and Operations) Act, 2023. |
