The Lahore High Court (Deputy Registrar, Civil) has issued a summons in Case No. C.O.R.S. 28831/2026 on behalf of The Bank of Punjab against multiple defendants in a suit for declaration, cancellation of documents and permanent injunction under the Financial Institutions (Recovery of Finances) Ordinance, 2001.
Defendants are required to file their written application/leave to defend under Section 10 of the Ordinance within 30 days of service. Failure to file within the specified period may result in a decree being issued in favour of the plaintiff. Next hearing is fixed for 09 July 2026. Notice issued on 01 July 2026.
